Kelly A. Brown, as Executive Vice President and COO,
brings more than twenty years of experience in property
management to her role at Hallmark & Johnson. In
addition, Kelly A. Brown is Executive Vice President of
Urban Property Advisors (UPA), specialists in the
public, affordable and mixed-income housing arena. Ms.
Brown is a graduate of the
University
of Colorado
where she received her Bachelors Degree. Before joining
the firm, she was responsible for managing a diversified
multi-million dollar portfolio of more than 4,500
residential units that featured condominiums,
affordable, and market rate rentals units.
Ms. Brown is a recipient of the 2002 IREM Image Award
for instituting Blended Housing Management in public
housing property. She received the 2001 City of
Chicago's Community Builder's
Award for implementing a successful security program
involving all community stakeholders at Henry Horner
Homes. Ms. Brown holds various property management
certifications from nationally recognized real estate
associations such as the
National
Center for Housing
Management (NCHM) and the Institute of Real Estate
Management (IREM). Ms. Brown has received certification
from Illinois Housing Development Authority
(IHDA)/Spectrum in Low Income Housing Tax Credits.
